Restyle
Suitable for all cars, but meant as a direct nod to the legendary Porsche 3R “Rennsport Rennwagen” limited editions (only 3 ever built).
Porsche collectors and 991/992 GT3 RS owners.
The Core Story:
The Legendary “3R” Porsches.
In Porsche Motorsport built exactly three very special 997 GT3 R cars for three VIP customers (one of them rumoured to be the Emir of Qatar).
These cars were internally coded “3R” – officially called the 997 GT3 R “3R” or “3-Ring Racer” in factory paperwork and by Weissach engineers.
Current market value: €2–3 million+ each when they (almost never) come up for sale
Porsche themselves still use the term “3R” in internal documents when discussing these three cars.
Why 3RR Becomes the Perfect Plate
3RR = 3 R → 3 Ring Racer (the extra R is read as “Racer” or “Rennsport”).
It is the closest dateless representation possible of the ultra-rare 997 GT3 R “3R” designation
On the road it looks identical to the factory internal code, but legal for road use.
Put it on a 991 GT3 RS, 992 GT3 RS, 918 Spyder, or even a modern 992 Dakar and every Porsche insider instantly knows what it references.
