Commemorative plates were made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of Victoria and were launched in 1984-1985.

The commemorative plates were issued in the range 000.V to 999.V and 000.C to 999.C and they display the 150th year logo in blue and green on the left of the plate.
